Angela Horton is the Director, Business Founder
and Choreographer of Dance Club 2000 in Chichester, which was established in
April, 1994.
Angela has a lifetime of
professional teaching experience and was trained by her highly
qualified late father Howard and was a Fellow member of the Imperial Society of
Teachers of Dancing. Howard was professionally trained by the famous
Miss Eve Tynegate-Smith, (first committee of the ballroom branch of
the Imperial Society) where he achieved his professional Masters
IDMA examination in London 1947.
Angela was 12 years old,
when she was part of the winning junior Modern Ballroom and Latin
American Formation Team, professionally trained along with her
brother Geoffrey and twin sister Rosemary, by Blanche Ingle and Ken
Bateman, competing at the prestigious Tower Ballroom in Blackpool,
for the famous BBC television series 'Come Dancing'.
Angela has competed in
the British Open Competitions at World Class level, she has also
competed in the International Championships at the Royal Albert Hall
in London.
Angela has professionally taught Modern Ballroom and Latin American
dance courses in adult education classes at Chichester College in
Chichester from 1993 - 1997.
